Guess whos back...

Whoooooeeee.

Well I'm back - in more ways than one. Back in L.A., back in Yeshiva, back to learning, and back to blogging it seems... Sorry I wasnt very good about it over Pesach, but life in the real world took precedence over cyber-life :).

Anyway to condense Pesach into a few sentences: It was tough. We did a lot of barbequeing, swimming, boating, and water skiing. We spent time at the beach, played guitar, ate alot of mom's really good food, and just CHILLED. Like I said, it was tough, but someone had to do it...;)

The day I was supposed to fly back to L.A., they shut down A1A because of a huge accident, and I missed my flight. I got to see Hashgacha Protis in action though, because afterwards I went to the grocery store with my dad, and I met a Jew who hadnt put on Tefillin that day. Obviously I rectified the situation ;). So for the measly 50 bucks it cost to rebook my ticket, I got a Mitzvah and an extra night at home. Not a bad deal...:)

We just took our second installment of the Shabbos test - and passed :). One step closer to the Rabbinate...

Pierce o' cake!

Notice the sparkly thing in the pretty little girls ear? That would be an earring. A brand spankin' new earring to be exact :). Yesterday, we went on a family outing to get Shaindels ears pierced.

We walk into Claires (for all you uninformed guys that would be some girly store with lotsa jewelry and stuff...Velvel and I were getting some pretty interesting looks there) and Shaindel hops up into this ear piercing chair that is WAY too big for her, and grabs this little stuffed dog. The lady comes over and marked Shaindels ears with a purple marker (we drove her crazy till we figured she got it centered right ;)), and now were ready. So theres tiny Shaindel, sitting in this big chair, squinting her eyes shut, clutching the stuffed animal in one hand, and my mothers hand in the other. To make a long story short, the kid didn't make a peep! She just clenched her eyes tighter, and when it was over, opened her eyes, smiled, slapped us five, hopped off the chair and reached for the mirror to see how it looked. Brave little tropper aint she :)? Takes after her bros...;) Posted by Picasa

Invitation Virus

::Sigh::

Read the title of this post. Have you gotten an email warning you about this "deadly" hacker virus that will open an Olympic Torch and burn your hardrive? If you have, please DO NOT send it to me! I've already gotten it too many times for my liking. Normally spam goes straight to your junk inbox, but when its sent to you by your friends...Nothing you can do about it really ::shrug::

And so I have been reduced to posting this on my blog to try and reduce the amount of spam I receive these days...Click this

This is just another stupid spam prank. So everyone who sent it to me - thanks for the good intentions, but please stop :)!

Oh and in case I dont have time to post it tomorrow - Kasher and Frailichen Pesach everybody! No more L'shana Haba B'Yerushalayim - May this year be the one we merit to read the Hagaddah in Eretz Yisrael with Moshiach Tzidkeinu! AMEN!

For the best bro a guy could ever have... ::sniffle::

Velvel dedicated this post on his blog to me!

I just spent a bit of time lookin' for the nicest dolphin pic I could find to kinda pay him back. I picked the one above, but it was a hard choice, there are some really gorgeous ones out there! But I wanna give him something more...So if I could ask a favor from all of you...Take a couple of seconds of your time to find a really great dolphin picture for Velv. Then, post the links in the comments box. That way, I can give him not only the one I chose, but the ones you guys choose as well! Thanks :).

The Song

Heeeeere we go.

Ladies and gentleman, children of all ages! The time has come to change the song! Firstly, for all those who LOVE the current song - such as myself - allow me to set your mind at ease. I will still have it on the blog, and you'll still be able to hear it. I'll explain how later, for now, trust me ;).

Moving right along... What we need now is suggestions. Tell me what you would like to hear! I'm only changing it in the first place because so many people asked me to, so lemme know what you've got in mind :).

I probably wont be changing it until after Pesach anyway (Sorry ABI ;)), so you've got some time to think.... Until then though, always remember -

Me skating....Ummmm yea :)

This is my first time at a skate park, courtesy of Levi :). He wasted no time in bringing me to one, this picture is from the beginning of the year, a few days after I first came to Cali. He got a big kick out of the fact that I had to borrow his clothes for it. And his skates. And his helmet. And his pads. Sooooo - Hows the outfit ;)?

Pesach Cleaning

Whew. Pesach cleaning is intense! Especially this year, because were also moving into our new house - WOOHOOO ::Begins Tribal Victory Dance::!!! Anyway, i'll spare you the details of the cleaning - I'm sure you all do the same in your houses, so you know what were up against here...:)

But back to the house... this place rocks! Even without all the planned renovations! Those had to be put on hold for the moment...(not our choice, the builder said all the contractors are still backed up with emergency repairs from Hurricane Wilma. But we figured, why wait any longer? Those people who know the whole story know how long its been, how long weve been living in a little dump rental house...So we finally moved in :-D).

Thing is, this place has been sitting here for so long without us living in it, that we had to do some intensive repairs... There are some funny stories about that :). I'll write 'em up later. Kinglit, you NEED to come check out the house now! You wouldnt believe what it looks like. We had these two interior decorator ladies come, and its like they did magic or something. The place is beautiful :).

Whoops gotta run! The potatoes need peeling... Kosher and Frailichen Pesach everybody!
