Pierce o' cake!

 
Notice the sparkly thing in the pretty little girls ear? That would be an earring. A brand spankin' new earring to be exact :). Yesterday, we went on a family outing to get Shaindels ears pierced.

We walk into Claires (for all you uninformed guys that would be some girly store with lotsa jewelry and stuff...Velvel and I were getting some pretty interesting looks there) and Shaindel hops up into this ear piercing chair that is WAY too big for her, and grabs this little stuffed dog. The lady comes over and marked Shaindels ears with a purple marker (we drove her crazy till we figured she got it centered right ;)), and now were ready. So theres tiny Shaindel, sitting in this big chair, squinting her eyes shut, clutching the stuffed animal in one hand, and my mothers hand in the other. To make a long story short, the kid didn't make a peep! She just clenched her eyes tighter, and when it was over, opened her eyes, smiled, slapped us five, hopped off the chair and reached for the mirror to see how it looked. Brave little tropper aint she :)? Takes after her bros...;)
